The program prerequisites include GCE Advanced Level (A/L) for local candidates and equivalent qualifications for foreign candidates.
Proficiency in English is essential for all students.
For local candidates, successful completion of GCE Advanced Level (A/L) with three passes in any subject stream (Science, Commerce, Technology, or Arts) is required. A credit pass in English at the GCE O/L level is preferred but not mandatory.
Foreign candidates are also welcome to apply, provided they hold qualifications deemed equivalent to the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination of Sri Lanka or the qualifications required for admission to a university in their home country. Proficiency in English is essential for all students, and SIBA offers English proficiency testing and relevant preparatory courses as needed.
